August Military Scholarships for Service Members, Veterans, Spouses and Kids

This August military scholarships post is part of my ongoing Military Scholarships series. There are no scholarships this month as organizations prepare for the new season coming up, but I’ve included one with the deadline on the 1st of September. Enjoy the break, get yourself organized, and plan ahead for future months that are fuller.  

New Hampshire Higher Education Scholarships for Orphans of Veterans

Deadline: 01 September 2026

Description: Applicant must be the child of a New Hampshire service member who died on active duty or of service-related disabilities and pursuing higher education in the state.

Amount: $2,500
