Woman Marines Association

Deadline: 28 February 2021

Description: This one is a little tricky, because beyond the usual application requirements (which include a relationship to a Marine), you also need to get a member of the Woman Marines Association to “sponsor” you. Eligible applicants must have the following Marine Corps relationship:

a. Have served, or serving in the United States Marine Corps or Marine Corps Reserve; OR
b. Be a direct descendant by blood, legal adoption, or stepchild of a Marine on active duty, or who has served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, Regular or Reserve; OR
c. Be a sibling or a descendant of a sibling by blood, legal adoption, or stepchild of a Marine on active duty, or who has served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, Regular or Reserve; OR
d. Be a spouse of a Marine OR
e. Have completed two (2) years in the Marine Corps JROTC program.

Although both high school and college students are eligible, they have different GPA and application requirements. Check the page for eligibility details! Undergraduate applicants must be full-time students (12 credit hours) in-order to be eligible for a WMA Scholarship. Master/PhD applicants are required to take at least six (6) credit hours each semester.
